About the Legal Team and the Role

The Legal team at Ingenuity is a dynamic and rapidly evolving department. As the business continues to grow and face new challenges, the Legal team plays a critical role in supporting and guiding the organisation at every stage. This role will be to support the continued growth of the business, reporting into the General Counsel. The Ingenuity Legal Team currently comprises 4 qualified lawyers working across a variety of practice areas.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating, drafting and advising upon a variety of commercial agreements, including supplier and customer contracts, distribution agreements, standard T&Cs of purchase etc;
• Negotiating, drafting and advising upon intellectual property arrangements, including licence in and out of IPR;
• Advising upon website related activity (including website T&Cs, privacy policy etc);
• Advising upon data privacy related matters (prior privacy experience not essential);

Requirements:

• Law degree
• 4 years’ PQE in a reputed law firm or the legal industry
• Holding a valid practising certificate
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Highly motivated and reliable individual
• Ability to make sound judgements
