Role Overview:
As the Customer Growth Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and capitalising on opportunities within our existing client base. This position requires a strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach and the ability to foster strong, long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for expanding client portfolios by upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new solutions tailored to their evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Expansion Strategy:
- Analyse existing client portfolios to identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategies to upsell and cross-sell products or services that align with clients' business objectives.
Relationship Management:
- Build deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders within the client base.
- Act as a consultant, understanding clients' challenges and aligning solutions to meet their needs.
Sales Execution:
- Own the entire sales process for upselling and cross-selling initiatives, from initial outreach to deal closure.
- Achieve and exceed growth and revenue targets for the assigned client base.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer success) to ensure a seamless client experience.
Client Insights & Feedback:
- Gather insights from clients to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions that enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM tools.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts on revenue growth performance and pipeline health.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in a growth-focused sales or account management role, preferably within [industry, e.g., SaaS, B2B services, technology].
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to uncover client needs and align them with solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities through data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.
- A team player with a collaborative approach and a client-first attitude
