What will I be doing? 

 

As Head of Brand Performance, you will: 

  • Own relationship, contracting, and set up of brand tracking and MMM partners for THG ingenuity clients.  
  • Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM) lead for THG Ingenuity clients, working with our providers to offer best in class usage, advice, recommendations and optimisations of marketing budgets.  
  • Full group ownership of market research, customer insights and brand tracking, including overseeing the development of customer personas for clients and developing THG Ingenuity’s brand health offering.  
  • Develop relationships with vertical directors internally to execute upon brand health findings and proactively work towards new business analysis / opportunities with the various sales teams.  
  • Identify new & emerging data points to fuel the creation of progressive insights for the business. 
  • Tying together multiple customer data sources (qualitative and quantitative) to help THG’s brands understand exactly who their customers are and where we have opportunity in the market. 
  • Point of call for measurement, customer, audiences, brand, and insights for THG Ingenuity clients. 
  • Lead initiatives that help THG’s portfolio of brands stay close to the consumer - this is about more than just data analysis, helping to uncover the real drivers and insights that ultimately drive decision making, fuel innovation and marketing strategies.  

What skills and experience would I need? 

  • 8+ years of working within a brand, marketing, data or insight’s function.  
  • Be an exceptionally strong leader and communicator, with proven experience influencing director / C suites.  
  • Very comfortable with data and marketing application.  
  • Previous experience with MMM / econometrics required.  
  • You have experience working with research and insights agencies. You are well-versed in assessing methodologies and defining the right approach based on a business question. You can utilise existing methodologies and tools and continuously expand your understanding and experience of new ones. 
  • You are assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority, and are not afraid to do what is best for the team. 
  • Solid understanding of core marketing channels and how they can deliver against objectives.  
  • Excellent project management skills with experience with stakeholder management.  
  • The ability to work effectively across organisational boundaries and the confidence and credibility to challenge constructively to achieve the desired outcomes.  
  • You have a passion for people and a curiosity to uncover real human insights.
