Footasylum AutoStore Integration
A turnkey AutoStore integration delivered through Robotics-as-a-Service, combining proprietary software, operator-led expertise and enterprise-grade automation.
THG Fulfil has partnered with Footasylum to design, integrate and activate a fully automated AutoStore solution tailored to the retailer’s operation.
Delivered through a flexible Robotics-as-a-Service model, the project gives Footasylum access to enterprise-grade automation, proprietary software and operational expertise without the traditional upfront capital commitment.
This investment gives us a materially more advanced fulfilment platform — one that helps us manage greater complexity, improve the flow of products through the operation and lay the groundwork for the next stage of Footasylum’s development.

The Challenge
As Footasylum continues to grow, its fulfilment infrastructure needs to keep pace with an expanding product range and increasing operational complexity.
The retailer required a more advanced platform that could improve the flow of products through its operation, optimise available warehouse space and provide the capacity needed to support future growth.
The solution also needed to be designed around the specific demands of Footasylum’s operation and the increasing breadth of its offer.
The Solution
Acting as principal contractor, AutoStore distributor and technology provider, THG Fulfil is delivering the project from design and integration through to activation.
The implementation introduces a fully automated, goods-to-person model combining AutoStore technology with THG Fulfil’s proprietary SaaS infrastructure and purpose-built Warehouse Control System.
The system is being configured around Footasylum’s complete live SKU range, creating an integrated fulfilment platform designed to enhance operational efficiency, optimise space utilisation and scale capacity alongside the business.
Delivered through Robotics-as-a-Service, the project removes the traditional barriers to entry associated with a first major automation project, providing access to enterprise-grade infrastructure without the capital commitment.

More Than an Automation Installation
Footasylum is the first external retailer to benefit from the AutoStore expertise, proprietary software and operational knowledge THG Fulfil has developed across its own global fulfilment network.
As both an integrator and operator of multiple AutoStore systems across its own global fulfilment network, including the world’s highest-output direct-to-consumer AutoStore facility, THG Fulfil brings proven, real-world experience to every deployment.
At the heart of Footasylum’s operation is THG Fulfil’s proprietary Warehouse Control System, purpose-built and continuously optimised in-house.
For brands considering automation, this brings together:
- Turnkey design, integration and activation
- A solution tailored to the operation
- Proprietary software developed in live fulfilment environments
- Continuous software optimisation
- Flexible deployment without the traditional capital commitment
Why THG Fulfil?
What will make this partnership different is not just the hardware, it is the software and operational knowledge behind it. THG Fulfil has spent two decades obsessing over the end consumer experience as a retailer, and that knowledge is embedded into everything we build.
As a unique global distributor and integrator for AutoStore, we bring proprietary SaaS infrastructure including a purpose-built WCS, an AI-backed data science function, and a depth of operational experience that compounds in value long after go-live.
For Footasylum, our Robotics-as-a-Service commercial model removes the traditional barriers to entry for a first major automation project, giving them access to enterprise-grade infrastructure without the capital commitment.

Built for Footasylum’s Next Stage of Growth
The implementation marks a step-change in Footasylum’s fulfilment capability. Once live, the platform will provide a more advanced foundation from which the retailer can manage greater complexity, improve product flow and support the continued growth of its product range and business.
As Footasylum continues to grow, we are committed to investing in the infrastructure that will support the business today and long into the future. Our fulfilment operation is a critical part of that, and this project represents one of the most significant investments we have made in the business in recent times.
Working closely with THG Fulfil, we have designed a solution tailored to the specific demands of our operation and the increasing breadth of our offer. As our product range expands and the business evolves, it is vital that the infrastructure underpinning it keeps pace.
This investment gives us a materially more advanced fulfilment platform - one that helps us manage greater complexity, improve the flow of products through the operation and lay the groundwork for the next stage of Footasylum’s development, all while continuing to deliver for our customers.
