THG Social Media Guidelines

These social media guidelines (“Guidelines”) apply to social media accounts, pages or platforms (“Socials”) owned, operated or managed by FIC Shareco Limited, its affiliates or representatives (“us”, “we”, “our”, or “THG Ingenuity”).
They apply to all content that users post, upload, share, generate, or otherwise interact with on our Socials, as well as any links to our Socials and any communication or interaction with other users ("you", "your" or "user").
Our Community Standards
We want THG Ingenuity's Socials to be a safe, respectful and enjoyable space for our community. By engaging with our Socials, you agree to comply with these Guidelines.
THG Ingenuity reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine whether content or user behaviour breaches these Guidelines and to take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting access, blocking, or reporting users where necessary.
Content Requirements
All content shared on our Socials must:
- Be accurate where it states facts
- Reflect opinions that are genuinely held
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in the country from which it is posted
Prohibited Content and Behaviour
We reserve the right to remove any content and take action against users whose content:
- is defamatory, threatening, abusive of any person or invasive of another's privacy;
- is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory or incites hatred against any individual or group;
- harms or attempts to harm minors in any way;
- bullies, insults, intimidates or humiliates any person in any way;
- is likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm or annoy others;
- infringes any intellectual property or proprietary rights;
- contains illegal content or promotes illegal activity;
- impersonates another person or misrepresents identity, role or affiliation with any person;
- encourages, promotes or provides instructions for an act of violence or physical harm;
- contains viruses, spyware, adware or any other harmful or disruptive code;
- contains unsolicited, unauthorised or misleading advertising or promotional material (including spam);
- promotes third-party services, products or websites without our prior authorisation;
- advocates, promotes, incites any party to commit, or assist any unlawful or criminal act; and/or
- otherwise fails to comply with these Guidelines or content standards.
Enforcement
Failure to comply with these Guidelines may result in content removal, comment moderation, account restriction, blocking, or reporting to relevant platforms or authorities, where appropriate.
