Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, commercially driven Business Development Director to lead and grow new business for THG Studios. This senior role combines strategic leadership with active engagement in the full business development cycle — from identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and an executor: someone who thrives on building relationships, developing tailored creative and commercial solutions, and personally driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities

Drive new business growth by identifying, developing, and securing partnerships with leading global and regional brands.

Lead from the front — actively prospect, engage, and manage your own pipeline of opportunities across multiple sectors.

Develop and execute a robust sales and growth strategy aligned with THG Studios’ creative and commercial goals.

Build deep, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers, brand leaders, and agency partners.

Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, production, strategy, and technology teams to develop compelling proposals and pitches.

Oversee and directly contribute to the end-to-end sales process — from initial outreach and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.

Represent THG Studios externally at industry events, conferences, and key client meetings to elevate our market presence.

Provide market intelligence on emerging trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform future strategy.

Mentor and guide junior members of the business development team, fostering a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.
Required Skills & Experience

Proven track record of success in business development, commercial leadership, or sales roles within creative, digital, media, or production environments.

Demonstrable experience personally driving new revenue and closing complex, high-value deals.

Deep understanding of digital marketing, content production, creative services, and technology-led solutions.

Strong strategic, commercial, and negotiation skills, with the ability to craft and articulate compelling value propositions.

Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of growth.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and matrixed global organization.
