We are looking for a Sales Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for THG Ingenuity through the GCP Marketplace. This is a high-impact, commercially focused role responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities where Ingenuity’s commerce and digital solutions are sold via GCP.
This person will be employed by THG Ingenuity but will act as the dedicated sales interface between THG Ingenuity and Google Cloud’s Marketplace and Partner Sales teams — ensuring joint success, strong alignment, and scalable routes to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales via GCP Marketplace: Own the full sales cycle for Ingenuity offerings sold through GCP, from prospecting and qualification to close.
- Channel Partner Management: Work closely with GCP Partner Managers, Solution Architects, and Industry Leads to identify and develop joint opportunities.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise opportunities using GCP’s co-sell and marketplace programs.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with Ingenuity’s product, marketing, and commercial teams to design and execute marketplace-specific go-to-market campaigns.
- Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead commercial discussions with clients, aligning marketplace pricing, billing, and procurement models with Ingenuity’s commercial framework.
- Performance Tracking: Report regularly on sales performance, pipeline conversion, and marketplace metrics to senior leadership.
- Customer Success Handover: Ensure smooth transition of closed deals to account management and implementation teams.
What You’ll Bring
- 5–8 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development, or channel sales, ideally in SaaS, cloud, or digital commerce.
- Demonstrated experience working with or through cloud marketplaces (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) or major technology partnerships.
- Proven ability to build relationships within large partner ecosystems and influence joint go-to-market outcomes.
- Strong commercial acumen and confidence structuring and negotiating enterprise deals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical, commercial, and partner functions.
- Ambitious, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
