Tech at THG Ingenuity

Technology is the driving force behind THG Ingenuity, and it all starts with our people. We are ambitious with our goals and challenge conventional thinking. Technology stands out because we empower every individual to make a significant impact and drive their work forward. Our people are continuously learning, and we work daily to ensure our technology—from software platforms to hosting services to machine learning capabilities and beyond—remains world-class.

Product Manager (Core Tooling Platform)

As a Product Manager in our Core Tooling team, you will own and evolve the vision, roadmap, and delivery of unified internal tools and configuration platforms. Your mission: create a single, powerful console for managing, configuring, and monitoring the core services that power every commerce experience at THG—empowering engineering, product, and commercial teams to move faster, smarter, and with greater confidence.

What You’ll do:

  • Define and drive the unified tooling vision and roadmap, focusing on delivering a scalable, intuitive platform for all configuration and management needs
  • Partner with engineering to design and iterate on tool architecture, workflow patterns, and APIs—ensuring reliability, extensibility, and outstanding user experience
  • Advocate for usability, consistent UI/UX standards, and process automation across all platform tools
  • Harmonise fragmented interfaces, migrate legacy/standalone tools, and break silos to create a cohesive, best-in-class builder experience
  • Capture feedback from internal users (developers, product, ops, commercial), turning needs into actionable features and continuous improvements
  • Track tooling adoption, productivity, and user satisfaction—owning the platform’s internal “customer success”
  • Champion a culture of empowerment, automation, and operational excellence throughout the tooling ecosystem, ensuring Product Managers and Engineering teams in different domains are adhering to the frameworks and standards you have set out.
  • Measure success by real-world workflow improvement, error reduction, and internal user NPS

About you:

  • You love solving real-world problems for internal users—building tools that make engineers, product managers, traders and ops teams more effective and happier
  • You see complexity as an opportunity: simplifying, systematising, and automating configuration and workflow challenges is your sweet spot
  • You have a track record of creating or improving consoles, dashboards, platform services, or developer tools—making the hard stuff intuitive and reliable
  • You speak engineering fluently and thrive collaborating with deeply technical teams, acting as the translator between user experience and solution.
  • You’re obsessed with usability and design consistency—advocating for great UI/UX even for internal products
  • You play well with others, push for excellence, and break silos
  • You measure your success by adoption, workflow impact, and internal “customer” satisfaction—not just features shipped
  • You are comfortable driving change, aligning teams, and iterating fast as you learn.
