Role: Senior Videographer – Creative Video Team
Reporting to: Head of Creative Video
Overview
THG Studios is looking for a senior videographer to join our Creative Video department, based in Greater Manchester, UK to lead the delivery of film content for THG and external clients.
You’ll enjoy working across a wide range of video productions; including global TV and VOD commercials, award winning online content and social first campaigns too.
About You
You’ll be a senior creative, with experience in all stages of video production - from concept to delivery. You will have experience dealing with clients in a professional and enthusiastic manner, creating comprehensive pre-production pitch decks, and executing your ideas once signed off. This includes directing talent, lighting and camera operating, as well as overseeing the post-production with our fantastic in house post-team.
You should have knowledge and a genuine interest in the technical side of video production, continually developing your craft both in and outside of work. Additionally, you should keep up with video trends, especially on social media to ensure the content you are creating not only stands out visually but also engages the viewer and delivers for the clients requirements.
Main Activities and Tasks
· Establishing the scope, specifications and requirements for briefs.
· Generate original ideas, ensuring work is aligned to brand guidelines and tone of voice, while considering budget and industry trends.
· Presenting/pitching to clients both in person and online.
· Working with our in-house Producers to turn ideas into reality.
· Directing crew and talent on location or in studios.
· Shooting and lighting anything from talent, product, food, etc.
· Act as a point-of-contact for Producers to advise on creative, lighting and camera decisions where necessary.
· Maintain positive internal and external client relationships.
. Contribute to the maintenance of our extensive in house kit store.
. Support other team members where required and appropriate filling roles such as an AC/ Gaffer or Spark.

Requirements
· A team player with a hands-on approach and a strong work ethic.
· 4+ years in video production.
· Professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal skills.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Exceptional creativity and innovation, with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Commercially minded when scoping ideas, crew and gear for shoots.
· Excellent technical and operation skills with a broad comprehension of camera, lighting and audio set-ups in a wide variety of scenarios.
· A proven track record of delivering video content for aspirational brands.
· A strong communicator with an ability to tailor your approach to both creative and analytical mindsets.
· Experience working in a team with multiple stakeholders.
· Experience directing talent.
· Experience producing content in a fast-paced environment.
· A proven track record and comprehensive knowledge of video production on location or in a studio.
· Ability to balance multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholder, ensuring clear lines of communication with all parties (including content sign off and reporting).
· A full UK driving license.
