We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hybrid Spa Therapist & Receptionist to join us at King Street Townhouse Hotel. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standard of professionalism in all areas of operation and carry out all duties to our world class standards.

The hotel also includes King Street Tavern (bar, restaurant and wine cellars), afternoon tea rooms, conferencing & event space, gym and treatment rooms, which are available to hotel guests. King Street Townhouse boasts some amazing features, such as its rooftop infinity spa pool, with views of the spires and clock tower of Manchester’s iconic town hall. The hotel prides itself in its reputation for special events and occasions. Main Duties of the Role:

  • Welcoming members and guests to the spa
  • Delivering treatments on a hybrid basis 
  • Ensure guests receive a warm welcome to the premises and providing a high level of hospitality, showing guests through to the relaxation areas
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of all treatments that the Spa offers and be able to explain and upgrade them to the guests
  • Answering phones from prospective customers and clients, taking reservations
  • Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying
  • Responding to requests for help and information
  • Processing bookings & inquiries
  • Ensure that all bookings are confirmed and booked in such a way to maximise in revenue
  • Ensure there are sufficient stocks of laundry and retail products at all times
  • Ensure relaxation room, pre-treatment room, changing and thermal facilities are kept clean, tidy and fully stocked

Requirements:

  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Flexibility and the ability to respond appropriately to changing situations
  • Discretion and sensitivity
  • The ability to maintain professional standards under pressure
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of booking systems and software
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
