The Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager with proven proactive sales experience and knowledge of eCommerce marketplaces. In this role, you’ll identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and deliver tailored solutions that leverage THG Ingenuity’s capabilities. You’ll be a key player in accelerating our growth while helping brands unlock their potential in global marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across eCommerce marketplaces.

  • Develop and execute a sales pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor on digital commerce strategy.

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that showcase THG Ingenuity’s platform and marketplace expertise.

  • Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Product) to design bespoke solutions for client needs.

  • Monitor and analyse industry trends, competitor activity, and marketplace developments to drive new opportunities.

  • Accurately manage CRM data, sales forecasting, and reporting for senior stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in B2B sales / business development, ideally in eCommerce or technology services.

  • Strong knowledge of eCommerce marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Tmall, Zalando, etc.).

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Commercially driven with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with C-level stakeholders.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Experience in consultative solution selling (preferred).
