THG Media launches print magazines as part of publishing push
THG Ingenuity are excited to announce the launch of THG Media’s print magazine channel, after the success of our digital magazines which grew in circulation by almost 50% in 6 months. THG Media, the advertising and media solution within Ingenuity’s end-to-end ecommerce offering, will now offer print magazines featuring quality content written by our in-house editorial teams. Content includes informative, engaging and educational features and high profile interviews, all accompanied by production shots and imagery from THG Studios.
These magazines will provide advertising opportunities, giving your brand the chance to expand its audience reach, increase brand awareness and support new customer acquisition.
Print magazines are the second most trusted media format (behind linear TV) (1), rising in popularity amongst all age groups since COVID-19 as consumers looked to cut down on their screen time. It has also been proven to drive brand salience and positive emotion (2), providing the perfect opportunity to increase customer loyalty and advocacy.
THG Ingenuity has a unique self-sufficient distribution model (via THG fulfilment), meaning the print magazine process is fully controlled in house. Additionally, THG prides itself on being a certified Carbon Neutral company, therefore the carbon footprint of the print magazines will be offset.
THG Media launched its first print magazine for Myprotein - The Supplement - with 100,000 copies being made available in the UK in January 2022. The brand expects all copies to be claimed and delivered to Myprotein customers within the first 30 days of launch, complimenting their current digital magazine offering.
Our magazines are also registered with the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) to ensure our content is audited by an independent body, and we are currently working towards our first certifications:
