We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team at Hale Country Club & Spa. You will be responsible for creating a world-class beverage experience for our members.  

The ideal candidate will be a skilled coffee professional who thrives on delivering exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards in a fast-paced and premium environment. You will be a key part of our workplace experience, helping to fuel the innovation that drives our business. 

 

Main Responsibilities 

• Welcome clients, and guests in a polite and friendly manner. 

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality hot and cold beverages, with a focus on specialty coffees and expert latte art. 

• Take orders efficiently and provide a consistently high level of customer service. 

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our beverage offerings to make recommendations and answer customer questions. 

• Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance service levels and operational efficiency. 

• Foster a positive team environment and maintain good working relationships across all departments. 

• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards. 

• Manage all customer queries in a timely and professional manner. 

• Adhere to all company policies, including health, safety, and security procedures. 

• Work collaboratively with the wider hospitality and facilities team to support events and meetings where required. 

Requirements 

• Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume environment. 

• Excellent knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machine operation, and milk texturing. 

• A genuine passion for coffee and a commitment to quality. 

• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. 

• A reliable team player with a professional demeanour and a self-motivated approach to work. 

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
