Role   

We're on the lookout for a an experienced stylist to join our team at THG Studios, collaborating with our renowned partner, Disney. If you have a flair for turning magical ideas into visually captivating imagery and leading projects from concept to completion, especially with a strong background in set design and the ability to style concepts creatively for the camera, we want to hear from you. This role is based on site at our Manchester Studio, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.

Key responsibilities

• Style set designs with a keen sense for what looks striking on camera, ensuring that each project tells a compelling story.
• Take initial concepts and breathe life into them by styling them creatively on set. Your work should enhance visual narratives and communicate the intended message effectively.
• Engage with photographers and other creative talents to ensure seamless integration of design elements on set.
• Juggle multiple projects, maintaining a high standard of quality and adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Keep abreast of current trends and innovations in set design, incorporating fresh ideas into your work.

Skills & experience

• A diverse and impressive portfolio demonstrating expertise in set design and on-set styling.
• Extensive experience in a stylist capacity.
• Strong communication and leadership prowess.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a sharp eye for detail.
• Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
• Experience dressing themed sets in fun, creative ways, referencing Disney films, and creating props. Versatility needed for flat-lay fashion styling for clothing.
• Experience using small hand tools and skills in wiring and hanging props/characters in fun poses.
• Experience with both traditional and digital set design techniques.
